A note on dietary requirements…

We apologise that we are currently unable to cater for guests on FODMAP, soy-, ginger- or sugar- free diets.

We are a large format restaurant that has previously endeavoured to cater for each dietary restriction and combination of dietary restrictions.

We believe the quality of our product of which our chefs are both a) proud to put forward and b) passionate about teaching our apprentice Chefs and students who come through our kitchen, is compromised by catering for the 4 diets above.

Our chefs have faced persistent challenges in catering for these restrictions.
We understand this will be a disappointing change for some guests.
We wish to make everybody feel welcome in our restaurant and our doors (and bar) are always open in other ways – snacks, drinks, dessert!

We tip our hats to the chefs who are able to produce a menu that is creative, sustainable, locally sourced and appropriately costed while catering for these specific requirements- in our cuisine or otherwise. We hope to see more of these eateries in Hobart over time.


We’ve done our best to contribute to this landscape over the past 2 years. Perhaps in future we can revisit when we feel we’re able to efficiently provide this service while maintaining the integrity of our food and cuisine.
